Where are the scientists? When did observation and experimentation give way to presupposition and philosophical bias? What happened to the foundation of science when men expected to discover truth about the created order based on reason?
The disciples of Darwin are the new fundamentalists, only their religion is based on the presupposition that there is no God. The Bible tells us that the origin of such thinking is foolishness bound up in the heart of man. So what do we expect its fruits to be but more foolishness.
If the world was not created by a reasonable God and men are not His image bearers, then why would scientific law exist and why would men begin to look for repeatable cause and effects in the world? In a world without design or purpose, why would life exist at all and why would living things move toward consistent increases in complexity? How does man come forth from non-man? How does that which is immaterial originate from the material?
Will those who disparage the Bible ever answer these things given their faith in science? In their pursuit of autonomous reason they have given up reason for a blind faith. Science is not infallible because man is not infallible. Reason must be guided by revelation in order to avoid non-reason and foolishness. The existence and acceptance of darwinism are the proof.
