What is a white hole?
The idea of white hole is taken from Russell Humphreys’s white hole cosmology put forth in his book Starlight and Time (1994). Its appeal was the attempt to address the question of distance starlight in a young universe using the biblical concept of the Creator stretching the heavens. Humphreys appealed to Einstein’s theory of relativity with different initial conditions compared with the big bang solution. Gravitational time dilation was touted as the cause of a young earth and an old universe.
We applaud Humphreys for his work; for many believers who had rejected big bang as anti-biblical, it generated a new interest in biblical cosmology. With help from Walt Brown and Barry Setterfield, I now believe there is a more straightforward answer to the question of distance starlight observed from a young earth that is consistent with the biblical framework given by Moses and the Prophets and confirmed in the New Testament.
The anomalies in big bang cosmology are numerous, and the theory is patched up like the Ptolemaic view of the solar system with earth at the center. They kept making it work, but with more and more absurd modifications. So it is with big bang. The inventions of dark matter and dark energy cry out, but few are listening.
Here are some of the anomalies that have captured my attention and caused me to abandon the white hole…
1. Arp’s observations of quasar red shifts are more likely related to their age rather than distance. Red shifts for the same object are seen to transition in steps from very high to low in the spatial vicinity of low red shifted galaxies.
2. Quantized red shift not only invalidates big bang that expects continuous red shift, but it opens the idea of the fabric of space and its non-constant energy level.
3. The so-called accelerating universe cries out for a very simple answer that the big bangers cannot speak for fear of excommunication. The data can also be explained by a decreasing speed of light. This explanation would fix many of the anomalies, but the community had rather accumulate anomalies than allow for a paradigm change that is contrary to their presuppositions of anti-creation and anti-young universe.
The Bible states clearly that the Creator stretched the heavens as part of His work during the creation week and then rested. If repetition is for emphasize then we can be sure of the significance of this creative work of God. This link will display the references and give their context…

If all the host of the heavens where completed during the days of creation, how is it that astronomers can see stars being formed today? The heavens cannot be ancient and the earth young. They both must be young. Consider this explanation which is taken to be more consistent with the biblical framework and the suppressed evidence...
God created the stars in the firmament of the heavens and then stretched out the heavens. The analogy of the heavens being stretched like a curtain implies that the created ‘expanse of the heavens’ [Genesis 1:14] was once much smaller.
Red shift is then a result of the stretching of the fabric of space containing the galaxies and is proportional to the amount of stretching; light from the more distance galaxies have experienced the most stretching. The energy level of the fabric of space has changed over time since the creation resulting in a dramatic decrease in the speed of light.
