The Constitution is more than a document to be read. Reading it without understanding the world view that prompted its writing and implementation is like an unbeliever trying to understand the meaning of the Bible…
“Seeing they may see and not perceive,
And hearing they may hear and not understand;
Lest they should turn…” [Mark 4:12]
This people have rejected the covenant of law binding us together as a nation because they have contempt for the Natural Law and Nature’s God, having replaced Him with idols of the mind. It is to be expected and this was the warning given to us by the American Founders…where there is no respect for divine Law among the people, neither will they honor the civil law.
But even more fundamental is that the covenant of law was to supersede the will of the elites. But the law is no longer king; the elites in Washington would be our ruling class and turn the Constitution on its head. There was a day when the people that loved liberty would stand up and put down this tyranny. May we see a new day when the ruling class are seen as usurpers of the people’s liberty and dealt with as tyrants.
