Disappointment will always follow the effort to find consistency in the logic of the illogical. But there is a consistency if we consider what is behind the scenes of the cultural war. The anti-Christian forces of darkness are vigilant in their efforts to suppress the Christian world view from American culture.
The sanctity of life has been breeched in the acceptance of abortion. The sanctity of marriage has been breeched in the ‘no fault’ divorce. The advocates of sodomite marriage would remove the institution of marriage from its Christian roots…
"But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’, so then they are no longer two, but one flesh" [Jesus Christ on marriage and divorce from Mark 10 quoting Genesis 1:27 and 2:24].
How do the new airport security searches violate Natural Law and further suppress the Christian world view? It is unnatural for a culture to dishonor its women in this manner. It is unmanly for a husband to allow his wife to be man handled and humiliated.
Our culture is in crisis over the meaning of ‘rights’. Governments are instituted among men to secure their God given rights. These words are commentary on Romans 13. Rights are defined by our duty to obey the moral Law of God or what the American Founders called the Natural Law of Conscience common to all men. Any government that hinders men in their proper duty toward the Natural Law violates its God given authority as civil magistrate.
Are there any Americans left that know what the Declaration of Independence says regarding unlawful magistrates and our duty towards them?
