Mr. Phillips begins his article with this statement of faith because it is incredible to believe otherwise as it is also incredible to believe an American President is anti-America as founded. But isn’t it time to begin to acknowledge the forces behind the dismantling of America as we know it. There is no conspiracy here; these people have published their intent and their methods in the open. Consider that the public education system is doing what it is intended to do under the control of the NEA. Their far left agenda is to remove the students from their heritage of liberty and American exceptionalism rooted in Biblical Christianity. The system no longer respects the liberty of conscience of these young image bearers; the NEA has become tyrannical in its enforcement of the dogma necessary to indoctrinate the students entrusted to them into modern, anti-American liberalism. The products of these schools are unable to think independently and critically unless they are mentored by a rescuer outside the system.
Some might call this criminal because the system is funded by the public treasury with no alternative for those who would prefer to leave the system but are unable to purchase private education or afford to home school. Those outside the system are punished because there is no tax break for families that fund the educational expenses of their own children. In fact, the current tax code explicitly denies these expenses for home schoolers.
Those who like to blame the parents for public school failure forget that the parents are products of the system. In engaging in this defense, the administrators admit that their system is a failure, but actually the system is working as designed. It is producing a majority of young adults who are held captive to the atheistic world view. When children walk in the counsel of the wicked, it is to be expected that they will end up in the seat of scoffers. They have not known the paths of righteousness nor has grace come near to them.
