We thank Mr Turek for this column. Consider also that bad environmental science results in bad economic policies, but the result of a vain philosophy accepted as the science of the origins of life has much greater consequences. Without a designer, men are robbed of discovering the purpose of life. Morality becomes relative, and gives way to lawlessness. Nature begins to consume grace as is evident in the presupposition that there is no God.
America was established under a world view based on the reality of the self-revealed God who created all things according to His purposes to glorify Himself in His image bearers. This resulted in the rule of law to maximize the people’s power and liberty. The Bible is the only sufficient base for men to build such a culture because it gives him a reference to the absolute that he cannot otherwise know.
The new reality of the darwinites is based on the irrational concept that information and design are independent of an intelligent designer and that the immaterial conscience of man is derived from the material, whether it be matter or energy.
When an attempt is made to redefine reality, the consequences are that truth is exchanged for lies resulting in cultural warfare.
There is no greater fraud in science than the continued propagation of macro-evolution as a serious theory in the light of the discovery of the DNA/RNA system common to all living things. The genius of this system is declared 10 times in Genesis 1 so ignorance is no excuse. God made them to reproduce ‘after their kind’. But those who suppress the truth want to see ‘common descent’ rather than a common designer.
It is evident that the power of Darwin’s philosophy is not that it is true, but that it agrees with the enmity of men toward God. The only power that can overcome this enmity is the gospel. Will the churches preach the eternal reality revealed in Jesus Christ and expose the fraudulent redefinition of reality?
